Helping Local Families Thrive Through Fall, Winter & Beyond

Every day at MountainStar, families across Central Oregon walk through our doors seeking safety, stability, and support. With hundreds of children enrolled in our Therapeutic Early Childhood Program and Preschool Promise classes, the need for basic resources—especially food—continues to grow.

And right now, the most urgent need facing local families is access to healthy, reliable meals.

Why Food Support Matters

With the uncertainty of sustaining key SNAP benefits, many caregivers are still facing food scarcity and impossible choices. Babies, toddlers, and young children—who make up nearly half of all SNAP recipients—are the ones most impacted. Local food banks are already feeling the increased demand.

  • Your support helps fill the gaps.

  • Your generosity helps keep cupboards full.

  • Your kindness helps children grow, learn, and thrive.
