April is Child Abuse Prevention Month
Throughout the month of April we will be hosting a series of events to engage with the community and raise awareness of our work to prevent child abuse throughout Central Oregon. Please join us at one (or all) of our events and get to know MountainStar and our staff.
Diaper Drive

We’re collecting essential supplies for families in need across Deschutes, Crook, and Jefferson Counties! You can drop off donations at locations in Bend, Redmond, Madras, Prineville, and La Pine.

Community for Kids: Redmond
Tri County Communities for Kids Event

📍 Becky Johnson Community Center in Redmond
Join us for the Communities for Kids event in Deschutes County, a free family-friendly gathering in support of National Child Abuse Prevention Month. This event is for the whole family - kids will enjoy time with School of Rock, receive free health screenings, and other fun kid activities. We hope to have NeighborImpact’s Mobile Food Pantry and staff will be available to answer questions and direct families to community resources.
