  • Back-to-School Supplies

    Help MountainStar families start the school year feeling prepared, confident, and ready to learn!

    Throughout August, we’re collecting new back-to-school supplies for children and families across Central Oregon.

    Our greatest needs include:

    • Backpacks

    • Notebooks

    • Pencils & pens

    • Crayons & markers

    • Folders

    • Glue sticks

    • Pencil cases

    • Other new school supplies

    These everyday essentials can help ease the financial burden of back-to-school season while making sure children have the supplies they need for a great start to the year.

  • Gas & Grocery Gift Cards

    Help MountainStar families with the everyday essentials that make a big difference!

    This month, we’re collecting gas and grocery gift cards to help families cover the rising costs of food, transportation, and other basic needs.

    Suggested gift cards include local grocery stores, Walmart, Target, Fred Meyer, Safeway, and gas stations.

  • Summer Essentials

    Help MountainStar families stay safe, healthy, and ready for summer fun!

    This month, we’re collecting summer essentials for families with young children, including:

    • Sunscreen

    • Children’s sun hats

    • Reusable water bottles

    • Swim diapers & waterproof diapers

    • Baby wipes

    These everyday items help children safely enjoy all that summer has to offer while easing the cost of seasonal necessities for families.

  • Caregiver Appreciation Notes

    Help us celebrate the people who show up every day to care for, nurture, and support children!

    This month, we’re inviting our community to create cards, drawings, or messages of encouragement for:

    • Parents and caregivers in MountainStar programs

    • MountainStar classroom teachers

    • MountainStar home visitors

    These simple notes are a meaningful way to recognize the love, dedication, and care these individuals provide every day.

  • Keep Kids Safe Diaper Drive

    Help MountainStar keep little ones safe, healthy, and cared for!

    Throughout April, we’re collecting diapers and wipes to support families with infants and toddlers across Central Oregon.

    Our greatest needs include:

    • Diapers — especially sizes 4–6

    • Baby wipes

    By helping provide these everyday essentials, you can ease financial stress for families and help ensure children have the basics they need to thrive.

  • Baby & Toddler Essentials

    Help MountainStar families make sure their littlest ones have the essentials they need to feel safe, healthy, and cared for!

    Throughout March, we’re collecting baby and toddler essentials for families across Central Oregon.

    Our greatest needs include:

    • Baby wipes

    • Pull-ups

    • Formula

    • Baby hygiene products

    • Toddler care items

    These everyday necessities help ease stress for parents and caregivers while ensuring young children have what they need to thrive.

  • Hygiene & Household Essentials

    Help MountainStar families create safe, healthy, and comfortable homes with everyday essentials!

    Throughout February, we’re collecting personal hygiene and household cleaning supplies for families across Central Oregon.

    Our greatest needs include:

    • Toothbrushes & toothpaste

    • Soap, shampoo & conditioner

    • Feminine hygiene products

    • All-purpose cleaner

    • Disinfecting wipes

    • Sponges

    • Laundry detergent

    Donated items will be assembled into care kits and distributed directly to MountainStar families, helping ease everyday stress and provide the essentials families need to thrive.

  • Hygiene Kits

    Help MountainStar families start the new year with essential items that promote health, comfort, and stability!

    Throughout January, we’re collecting personal hygiene essentials to create care kits for families across Central Oregon.

    Our greatest needs include:

    • Toothbrushes

    • Toothpaste

    • Soap

    • Shampoo & conditioner

    • Feminine hygiene products

    Donated items will be assembled into hygiene kits with the help of community volunteers and distributed directly to families receiving MountainStar services.
